Join our vibrant warehouse team in Miami, Florida, as a Picker/Packer. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order forms, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate is organized, has a keen eye for detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position involves considerable physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and frequent lifting of items weighing up to 30 pounds. A strong commitment to workplace safety is mandatory; you must consistently use the provided PPE and adhere to all established safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques. Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus. We value teamwork and a positive attitude, and you will work closely with other warehouse associates to meet daily targets. Your role is critical to our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform lifting tasks as required, following safe lifting guidelines.
- Contribute to meeting order fulfillment goals and overall logistics efficiency.
