Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management system (WMS) software.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any low stock or overstock situations.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to reconcile inventory movements.
  • Generate inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Ability to perform some lifting, up to 25 lbs, occasionally.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
