We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our large-scale distribution center in Los Angeles, California. This role is the backbone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment with care and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse locations based on order tickets or electronic scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure precision.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate boxes or containers, using dunnage to ensure product safety.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse Safety protocols.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory or issues with orders to supervisors.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods when required.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute positively to the overall efficiency of our logistics and order fulfillment processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a good work ethic.
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
