Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments accurately.
- Verify quantities and match against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all incoming items for damages or defects.
- Document all received products in the company's tracking system.
- Stage goods for put-away in the correct warehouse locations.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic data entry and computer systems.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Awareness of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Familiarity with various shipping and receiving processes.
