Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in the expansive Los Angeles, California area! We are searching for a hardworking and dependable individual to contribute to the daily operations of our state-of-the-art distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks such as order picking, packing, sorting, and staging merchandise for shipment. You will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, ensuring that the right products are picked and packed correctly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all operational procedures. The ability to perform consistent Lifting and moving of products is essential, as this role involves significant physical activity. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and effective communication are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Sort and stage merchandise for outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
