Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Inspect all picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary shipping documentation is correctly processed.
- Operate scanning devices to track inventory movements and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all established safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Strictly follow company policies, including the correct and consistent use of PPE .
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Identify and report any issues related to inventory, equipment, or potential hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picker/packer or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with scanning technology is advantageous.
- Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential requirements for this role.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may experience temperature variations.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
- Ability to meet productivity and quality standards consistently.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
