Join our team in Denver, Colorado as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for diligent individuals to contribute to our warehouse operations. Your primary role will involve accurately selecting items from inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment, ensuring they reach our customers in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects prior to packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Follow all company policies, including the mandatory use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a strong asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with scanning technology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment which may experience temperature fluctuations.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and wear provided PPE .
- Ability to meet established performance metrics.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
