We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our bustling Houston, Texas logistics center. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment, playing a crucial part in our overall supply chain operations. We are dedicated to providing a secure workplace, offering all necessary PPE and maintaining rigorous safety standards. - Receive, verify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport items within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Must be capable of frequent lifting up to 60 lbs. Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to consistently use PPE. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow instructions. Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as needed.
