We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy facility in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. This role is critical to our order fulfillment process and requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and efficiency. Your tasks will include reading pick lists, locating items in the warehouse, using scanning equipment, carefully packing products, and ensuring orders are ready for dispatch. This position is integral to our logistics operations, and adherence to all safety protocols is essential. We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals who thrive in a team environment. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. The use of appropriate PPE is mandatory to ensure your safety. This role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and the frequent lifting of packages up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and/or RF scanners.
- Verify product information for accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Assemble appropriate shipping containers and materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for pickup by carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse tools safely.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics process.
- Assist with inventory checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving repetitive motion and frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse order fulfillment and basic logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE .
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
