Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role is essential for the efficient management of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless logistics and timely processing of goods. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, all contributing to the successful operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
  • Accurately store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to customer specifications and logistics requirements.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory verification to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing of merchandise.
  • Identify and report any damaged goods, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of warehouse equipment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the proper use of PPE.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours as needed.
