Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other conveyances.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular safety training, including emphasis on proper Lifting techniques.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Identify and report any damaged materials.
- Support the overall logistics process by ensuring materials are readily available for shipping.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required). Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
