In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This position requires a high level of focus and precision to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain experience in warehouse operations and Logistics . Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret picking lists or digital order instructions.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse storage locations.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packaging.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and assemble boxes or mailers.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper handling techniques and Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred but not required. Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks accurately. Ability to stand for long periods and perform moderate physical activity, including regular Lifting . Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
