We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing shipments. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, verifying package contents against orders, and maintaining accurate shipping records. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a keen eye for detail are essential for success. You will be responsible for handling various shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests. Adherence to all company safety protocols and the correct use of required PPE are paramount. This position requires regular Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution network. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order contents and shipping information.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery.
- Maintain shipping logs and records.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
