We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, stack, and unstack materials and products within our warehouse. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical to maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts to ensure optimal working condition and report any defects.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and logistics best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Thorough understanding of forklift operation and safety best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility clothing.
- Commitment to upholding a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
