Our Denver, Colorado location is seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to manage the outgoing flow of our products. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring all shipments are processed accurately, documented correctly, and dispatched on time. Your duties will include verifying order details, preparing shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and a commitment to detail are crucial. We maintain a high standard of Safety and expect all employees to strictly adhere to guidelines, including the use of necessary PPE . While not requiring heavy Lifting , the role does involve handling packages and standing for extended periods. This is a fantastic opportunity to excel within the Logistics and transportation industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing sales orders and preparing them for shipment.
- Generating accurate shipping labels and necessary documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading).
- Verifying shipment contents against order details for accuracy.
- Coordinating with shipping carriers for pickups and tracking shipments.
- Maintaining organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Updating shipping records in the warehouse management system.
- Communicating with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed, especially those related to order fulfillment.
