We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments from our Provo, Utah facility. This role is critical to ensuring that all orders are accurately processed, packed, and dispatched to our customers on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics. This position requires careful attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in using shipping software. You will also be involved in some warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, which may involve lifting items up to 40 pounds. Safety is a top priority; you must be committed to following all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE. We are looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to the efficiency of our shipping department and the overall success of our logistics operations. Experience with common shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and shipping software is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Pick and pack orders as needed, ensuring quality presentation.
- Perform basic lifting and moving of packages.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of required PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding shipments.
- Contribute to the optimization of our logistics and shipping processes.
