We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our bustling logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stocking and cycle counting.
- Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
