We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory flow and supporting our overall logistics operations. You will be operating various types of equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring that all materials are handled with care. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all team members are required to follow strict protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle materials of varying weights and sizes. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
