Our Austin, Texas facility is looking for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to manage our outbound shipments. This role is critical for ensuring that orders are processed correctly, packaged securely, and dispatched efficiently to our customers. Key responsibilities include verifying order details against shipment manifests, generating shipping labels and documents, coordinating with various shipping carriers, and ensuring all shipments comply with company and carrier regulations. We maintain a strong commitment to workplace Safety , so adherence to all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is essential. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. While primarily administrative, there may be occasional requirements for light Lifting of packages up to 20 pounds. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse Logistics is highly valued. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents.
- Generate and apply shipping labels and manifests.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for pickups.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping records.
- Track shipments and proactively address any delivery issues.
- Ensure all shipments meet legal and company requirements.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and properly use PPE .
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
