Our Miami, Florida distribution center is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our energetic team. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the physical movement of goods and materials. You'll be responsible for tasks such as receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, moving inventory to appropriate storage locations, and preparing materials for outbound shipments. We pride ourselves on a safe and efficient working environment. Therefore, adherence to all Safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) are critical. This position requires considerable physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods. Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse machinery is advantageous, though training will be provided. As a vital component of our Logistics network, your role ensures that products are handled with care and moved promptly. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Load materials onto trucks for outbound shipment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Ensure proper handling and care of all goods.
- Follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Participate in stock counts and inventory verification.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
