We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick and pack items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic scanning devices. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a sometimes noisy and temperature-fluctuating environment. Understanding and adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to read and interpret order information accurately is essential for success in this role. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all team members are encouraged to report any potential hazards. Regular breaks are scheduled to ensure sustained productivity and well-being. Teamwork and communication are highly valued. This position involves frequent walking, standing, and bending. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Your role is vital to our supply chain and overall logistics success. Compliance with all safety regulations is non-negotiable.
