We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our vibrant team in Orlando, Florida. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves according to order specifications and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at a steady pace, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, working alongside other warehouse professionals to meet daily shipping goals. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation accurately to packages.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all established safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment duties as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Uphold all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and quality control.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the assigned shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills are required.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong dedication to work.
