The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong commitment to safety, and proven experience operating various types of forklifts. You will be tasked with transporting inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, and contributing to the overall organization and efficiency of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use, reporting any issues.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Participate in inventory counts and management.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform lifting and material handling tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
