Are you an energetic and precise Order Picker looking for a new opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada? We are hiring individuals to join our busy warehouse team! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for selecting and preparing items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics process, ensuring accuracy and speed in order fulfillment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology and teamwork to meet demanding targets. Your dedication to efficiency and accuracy is key to our customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specific items and quantities from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment according to OSHA standards.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock put-away.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed, including performing moderate Lifting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in order picking, warehousing, or a related logistics role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order information accurately.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform frequent bending and reaching.
- Capable of consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
