As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and carefully packing them for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit. This role demands a high level of concentration, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates who are committed to quality and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in picking and packing or order fulfillment is beneficial, but not required. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive team atmosphere. Key duties involve: Reading order pick tickets and accurately selecting the correct items and quantities from warehouse locations. Using hand-held scanners to track inventory movements. Safely operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed. Inspecting items for damage before packing. Efficiently and carefully packing items to prevent damage during shipping. Selecting appropriate packaging materials. Labeling packages for shipment. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area. Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE. This role involves significant physical activity and requires the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Understanding and implementing proper lifting techniques is crucial for your safety.
