Automated and exploratory testing for embedded Linux applications, focusing on connectivity and network features such as Enterprise Wi?Fi and 802.1X. This role involves setting up complex network configurations and testing network interface cards. Responsibilities Design and execute automated test cases for embedded Linux (SW/HW) using Python and a compiled language. Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge?case issues. Set up and configure mock network environments to simulate real?world network conditions. Validate networking components, including NICs and Wi?Fi connectivity under enterprise standards. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with preference for Azure DevOps.
Qualifications
Experience with automated testing tools and exploratory testing practices. Strong knowledge of embedded Linux systems. Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language (e.g., C, C++). Familiarity with network protocols and enterprise Wi?Fi standards (802.1X). Experience with CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps preferred.
