We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, demonstrating proficiency in various veterinary procedures and techniques. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients while supporting veterinarians in their daily tasks.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
* Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
* Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
* Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic.
* Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and recovery monitoring.
* Conduct X-rays and maintain accurate records of imaging results.
* Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic environment.
*Requirements*
* Licensed veterinarian technician
* Proven experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred.
* Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and dental terminology is essential.
* Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary medicine.
* Skills in animal catheterization and handling various species safely.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
* A strong commitment to providing compassionate care to all animals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
