Kitchen Supervisor — Tartinery Columbus Circle
Pay: $23–$25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Regular
Location: Columbus Circle, New York City
Tartinery, a chic French-inspired café known for its tartines, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our Columbus Circle team. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about leading a smooth, efficient, high-quality kitchen.
ResponsibilitiesOversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff; assist with training and scheduling
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
Support inventory management, ordering, and cost control
Collaborate with management to implement menu updates and operational improvements
Ensure a positive, team-focused work environment
Previous BOH supervisory or management experience required
Strong communication and leadership skills in English and Spanish required
Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen with efficiency and calm under pressure
Knowledge of food safety procedures (NYC Food Protection Certificate a plus)
Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining Tartinery's standards
Competitive hourly pay ($23–$25/hr)
