Salary: $65,000–$85,000 (CAD)

Job Description

How You'll Make an Impact:  

The Sales Administrator supports the Business Development and Operations teams by maintaining accurate sales and marketing data, contributing to proposal and presentation development, and managing the 2.3 sales compliance process and database. This role partners across functional areas to build a best-practice and proof-source library, coordinates events and conferences, and provides administrative support that strengthens the sales process. The position also offers light executive support to senior leadership, including scheduling, invoice processing, correspondence, and document preparation

As a Sales Administrator you will: 

Sales & Marketing Support (60%)

  • Maintain accurate data within CRM, sales, and marketing systems to support client account management, prospecting, and contract opportunities.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute reports to support sales forecasting, client retention, and competitive market insights.
  • Collaborate with Operations to gather and maintain best-practice evidence and proof sources for RFP customization.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients, markets, and upcoming opportunities to support lead generation.
  • Stay informed on foodservice and hospitality industry trends, competitors, and client developments.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Administer the 2.3 sales compliance process, ensuring the approval database is accurate and all audit requirements are completed on schedule.
  • Partner with inside sales to support targeted sales campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.

Administrative & Executive Support (40%)

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and Operations Sales Leadership Team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, expense processing, and travel logistics.
  • Prepare polished internal and client-facing documents, reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.
  • Support preparation and coordination of client presentations, contract renewals, business review meetings, sales events, and conferences.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between sales, culinary, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on key initiatives.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential client or business information with discretion.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements and complete required training.
Qualifications

Education

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, marketing coordination, or administrative roles—ideally within contracted food services, hospitality, or a related service industry.
  • Experience supporting RFP responses or contract renewals in a B2B service environment is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of SmartSheets and SharePoint Sites.
  • Strong presentation formatting skills and attention to design.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and committed to service excellence.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional and client-focused demeanor.

Language

  • English required; French is an asset.
