As an Intermediate Performance Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain strategy—developing key performance indicators, automating dashboards, and applying advanced analytics to optimize processes. You'll collaborate across teams, leverage cutting-edge tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence.
Responsibilities- Analyze & Interpret Data: Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decisions.
- Build Dashboards & Reports: Automate visualizations and reporting tools to communicate performance metrics.
- Forecast & Plan: Use historical data to predict future outcomes and support planning initiatives.
- Drive Process Improvements: Spot inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to workflows.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with supply chain managers and stakeholders to deliver impactful projects.
- Enhance Data Quality: Support data governance efforts and contribute to future-ready data structures.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with industry trends, tools, and best practices in analytics and performance measurement.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, financial/data analysis, or supply chain analytics.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Alteryx, Tableau, VBA, SQL, and Python.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience with data warehouse architecture and performance measurement frameworks.
- Certifications such as Yellow/Green/Black Belt, PMI-PMP, or PMI-PBA are considered assets.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
