Looking for Executive chef duties 
Seeking an Experienced Sushi chef to create and lead a team in an  Sushi restaurant  in West Village NYC and New York Midtown Grand Central.

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to food safety regulations.

  • Cutting, slicing and filleting different types of fish.
  • Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
  • Inspect the quality of ingredients used to prepare sushi dishes and informing the Executive Chef when quality is sub-standard.
  • Maintain a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination.
  • Reporting any problems with kitchen equipment to the manager on duty.
  • Sterilize all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use.
  • Taking daily inventory of food supplies and other products.
  • Ability to interact with customers and create a fun dining experience.
  • MUST HAVE sushi Experience
