This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while performing various tasks including cleaning, inspections, repairs, and installations following precise manuals. Key Responsibilities: Maintain all equipment in accordance with company standards to ensure optimal performance. Perform basic maintenance tasks on the service truck, such as fueling, oil checks, and cleanliness, while ensuring inspections are always performed and documented. Oversee inventory control on the service truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and parts. Report directly to the Service Manager for daily assignments and updates. Be available for after-hours service calls and maintain a flexible work schedule. Utilize diagnostic equipment to effectively troubleshoot issues and perform repairs accurately. Conduct advanced repairs including diagnosing and replacing major engine components such as injectors, pistons, and clutches. Document all service performed and enter details into our mobile service management system in a timely manner. Check safety features, perform adjustments, and ensure all vehicles meet safety standards. Engage with customers to answer inquiries and foster strong relationships, providing advice on future repairs. Participate in ongoing training and utilize newly acquired skills in your daily tasks. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. 5 years of experience as a technician in a Class 7 & 8 dealership or similar truck service facility. Valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVS regulations. Proven mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
