We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator in our Austin, Texas logistics hub. This position requires a highly motivated individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse, ensuring efficiency and safety in all operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to receive, store, and ship products. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and proficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately and without damage.
- Move and organize inventory to optimize warehouse space.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock management.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Coordinate with other team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various forklift models.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks.
- Keen attention to detail and strong situational awareness.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE at all times.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
