Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to established procedures.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards.
- Follow all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational targets.
- Perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and correct use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work effectively in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
