We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within the warehouse, supporting receiving, shipping, and inventory management. We require a strong commitment to safety, and all operators must strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification, a proven track record of safe operation, and excellent attention to detail. This position involves operating machinery, performing physical tasks, and requires the ability to lift materials when necessary, typically up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures for forklift operation.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Identify and report any unsafe conditions or hazards.
- Perform occasional lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of safe forklift operating procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and experience using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
