Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a great opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota? Our bustling logistics center needs your expertise to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods. You will operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is essential for maintaining workflow, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. A strong focus on Safety, the ability to work in a demanding environment, and a commitment to accuracy are key. Join our team and contribute to a well-organized and productive warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials.
- Move materials from receiving areas to storage, and from storage to order fulfillment areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock placement and cycle counting.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as part of the broader logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and inventory flow.
