Job Description

As an E&I General Foreperson with Electrical and/or Instrumentation Journeyperson ticket, you’ll leverage your expertise to oversee precise E&I projects in Saskatchewan. You will play a key role within the site operations team, reporting directly to the Superintendent. You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of your crew(s), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all project activities. This role provides strong on-site leadership through coordinating work, supervising personnel, and maintaining a consistent and fair application of all company policies and procedures. You will champion a safe work environment, support compliance with operational standards, and foster a positive team culture through clear communication, coaching, and accountability. Working closely with the Superintendent, client representatives, and cross-functional teams, the General Foreperson helps ensure work is completed on schedule, risks are managed, and overall project objectives are met. 

What would you be doing?

  • Provide supervision to multiple crews and services. 
  • Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met. 
  • Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements. 
  • Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures,  
  • Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance.

Qualifications
  • Is results-oriented, passionate about construction and has proven experience managing construction sites. 
  • Extensive experience in supervisory roles on industrial client sites with a solutions-focused mindset.  
  • A journeyperson ticket in a mechanical or electrical trade is considered an asset.  
  • Proven leader who motivates people and maintains effective relationships with clients and crew. 
  • Have valid safety tickets such as CSTS, Standard First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO).  
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
