We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for helping individuals improve their physical health and mobility. This role involves working with patients in an outpatient setting. The Physical Therapist will develop and implement personalized plan of care to address the unique needs of each patient, focusing on rehabilitation, pain management, and overall wellness.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
* Implement therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, exercise regimens, and manual therapy techniques.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in various settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, and home health environments.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
*Experience*
* A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
* Experience in geriatrics, or specific therapeutic techniques such as trigger point therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
* A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
Job Types: PRN, Per diem, Temporary
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
