The Role

YOUNG is transforming one of its hotel assets into a YOUNG Learning Hotel - a fully operating hotel combined with a practical learning environment. We're looking for interns from Spain to work with us in The Netherlands.

As an intern, you will rotate across multiple YOUNG concepts:

- YOUNG Hotels

- YOUNG Learning Restaurant

- YOUNG Coffee

- YOUNG Workspaces

Main Objective of the Role

This is not a passive internship, it is a hands-on professional traineeship where you work in real hospitality operations, learn quickly and take responsibility from day one to gain real operational experience across hotel, F&B and service environments while completing a structured learning program leading to a recognised diploma.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Operations

• Support front office: check-ins/outs, reservations and guest communication.

• Deliver a smooth guest journey through proactive service and clear communication.

• Apply YOUNG service standards in speed, precision and presentation.

Food & Beverage (Restaurant & Coffee)

• Execute service in setup, service flow, and guest interaction.

• Perform tasks in YOUNG Coffee: preparation, station setup, and hygiene routines.

• Support breakfast, events and service blocks with consistency and teamwork.

Operational Execution & Support

• Assist shift leaders with planning, stock control, setup and daily checklists.

• Maintain organisation, cleanliness and safety across all work areas.

• Rotate across departments (Restaurant → Coffee → Hotel → Workspaces) to

understand the full ecosystem.

• Demonstrate YOUNG culture: ownership, responsibility, clarity and execution.

What Success Looks Like After 12 Months

• You manage core operational tasks independently across departments.

• You consistently deliver high-quality service and demonstrate ownership.

• You contribute positively to the guest experience and operational flow.

• You complete the program and receive the recognised YOUNG diploma.

90-Day Targets

• Complete onboarding modules (Front Office, F&B & Service Standards).

• Execute basic tasks independently with quality.

• Show fast learning, adaptability and strong communication.

YOUNG Trial
