We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Orlando, Florida. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve products from warehouse locations according to pick lists or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected for shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
