Job Summary:
Join our bustling distribution center in Austin, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate! This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a critical component of our supply chain and logistics operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. Your responsibilities will span from receiving and stocking incoming goods to picking and packing outgoing orders, and potentially operating various warehouse equipment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of safety and efficiency. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to manage various tasks within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
  • Stock products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and shipping manifests.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (if applicable/certified).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Safely use and handle required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with shipping preparations, including labeling and staging of outgoing shipments.
  • Contribute to overall team efforts and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
