We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Austin, Texas. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our extensive inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, performing audits, and managing inventory data within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will play a key part in identifying trends, recommending process improvements, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage. Collaboration with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, is essential to maintain seamless workflows. A strong understanding of inventory control principles, logistics best practices, and proficiency with WMS software are required. Safety is a fundamental aspect of our operations, and you will be responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). While the role is primarily analytical, occasional lifting may be required. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills, strong reporting capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
