Our Washington, D.C. location is seeking a certified and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to enhance our warehouse operations. This is a key role within our **logistics** framework, requiring skilled operation of forklifts to manage inventory, facilitate loading and unloading of trucks, and support the overall efficiency of our distribution center. You will be entrusted with ensuring that materials are handled safely and moved to their correct locations within the warehouse. We maintain a strict commitment to **safety**, and all operators must follow **PPE** guidelines and operational **safety** procedures without exception. Responsibilities include performing daily pre-operational checks on forklifts, moving palletized goods, assisting with inventory counts, and contributing to a tidy and organized workspace. The ideal candidate must possess a current forklift certification and demonstrable experience. While forklift operation minimizes direct **lifting**, team members may be required to assist with manual tasks, including **lifting** up to 40 lbs.
