We are seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk for our facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for managing the inflow of goods into our warehouse, playing a vital part in our logistics and inventory management. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. You will ensure that received items match purchase orders, identify any damages or discrepancies, and prepare items for internal distribution or storage. Your diligence ensures the integrity of our supply chain from the moment goods arrive.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect all received goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Tag and label received items appropriately for tracking and storage.
- Report any issues with received shipments to management promptly.
- Maintain an orderly and safe receiving area.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with stocking and organizing received materials.
- Support the broader logistics team with inventory-related tasks.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and WMS software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all procedures.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Understanding of inventory control principles.
