We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all orders are picked correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. This position is crucial to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick sheet.
- Locate products in the warehouse and retrieve them for order fulfillment.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to Safety and following all guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
