We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your role directly impacts customer satisfaction, making precision and speed essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Ensure items are packed securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, if required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
