This role is integral to our logistics operations, involving a wide range of warehouse activities designed to ensure efficient product flow. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking inventory accurately, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing shipments for dispatch. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, requiring all associates to follow established safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and consistently wear the necessary PPE. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle regular lifting. As a Distribution Center Associate, you play a critical part in our supply chain, contributing to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners and order pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, following all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and support logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Effective team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic inventory management and logistics concepts.
