We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our facility in Detroit, Michigan. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating with carriers. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage the shipping process efficiently. You will be involved in packaging products, generating shipping labels, and scheduling pickups. A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping software and a good understanding of shipping regulations. Responsibilities include verifying order accuracy before packaging, selecting appropriate packaging materials, weighing and measuring packages, and maintaining accurate shipping records. You will also communicate with customers regarding shipping status and resolve any shipping-related issues. Compliance with all Safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is non-negotiable.
