Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is seeking an energetic and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, involving the careful handling and movement of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. We emphasize a strong culture of Safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload trucks, staging goods for optimal flow.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety regulations.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for long hours.
- Proficiency in Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Experience with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic inventory control and warehouse management.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety guidelines.
