We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our dynamic team as Picker/Packers in our St. Louis, Missouri facility. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role involves navigating the warehouse to pick items and meticulously pack them for shipment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our logistics chain. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality in all tasks performed. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient order processing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and systems is beneficial.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- A strong understanding of workplace safety is essential for this role.
